While our default severity ratings are based on industry best practices, we understand that what's critical for one organization might be moderate for another. Now you can customize issue severity ratings and automatically apply tags to match your specific needs and workflows.
With this new functionality, you can:
- Adjust severity ratings (1-5) for specific issues to align with your risk tolerance
- Automatically apply custom tags to categorize and group related issues
- Maintain accurate risk scores that reflect your organization's priorities

Getting Started
Taking advantage of these new capabilities is straightforward:
- Navigate to Scan > Settings > Issue Settings in your Halo Security account
- Click the + icon to add a new setting
- Search for and select the issue you want to customize
- Adjust the severity rating and add any automatic tags
- Save your changes
The new settings will be applied to all future scans, helping you maintain a more accurate view of your security posture.
